Lots of Flying - good
turnout.
We
had sun with a 10-18 mph north wind, the
temperature made it to the low 80's. 18
spectators drawn to the field by the new signs
setup on Hiway 99, 29 pilots and a total
crowd of 47 folks. Drawings were held for
several $25 gift certificates.
Pat Willis comments - The Labor Day Fun Fly was a great success. Three of the four local news stations came out to cover the event. We had numerous spectators and at least 27 pilots (when I signed in). Al again served up a great burger lunch and I am guessing we received a fair amount of donations. Great job to the event organizers!
