Had a great time up there with him, his dad and a few other friends of the pattern family. Just a beautiful private strip in the back yard of the owners house, basically. Couldnt have asked for better weather
Only complaint was, not enough time!My first flight of the morning, right after I take off, a Cessna comes out of nowhere and lands on the field right in front of me! Then just turns around and takes back off! I had no option but to remain up high and clear out of his way.. But, who can complain about having full scale around?? NOT ME! I love it

He chopped off the nose and fitted a PTE 36 gas motor on it, and it flies great! Its quiet as it is on the pipe, but I am certain that it could be even more quiet if a guy wanted to get crazy.
This is neat because gas engines really have yet to hit the pattern scene. I am really interested in this, because how great would it be for a pattern plane to have all the pull you could need and only need to worry about the gallon of gas every month or so
