Bummer but very cool that you're gonna get the other planes up soon! When do you think you'll be out next?

We decided against pouring concrete pads. Instead, we are going to bring in a couple dump trucks of fill dirt. We'll fill in that entire area and level it out.. roll it out really good to pack it in, and get it re-seeded with good grass like the runway has.

Brad said he was estimated between 4-6 weeks from start to having grass pretty well grown in.

This should in the end, give that entire area a smooth, runway like surface.

My only thought is, what about the other side...

We can't do anything with that side until it all gets filled in later in the season. I believe Sept time frame.

Alright I just said heck with it and decided to buy a spare dle35ra hopefully it will be here friday and I start a process of elimination to see whats actually wrong with first motor And in the end I will have spare parts for the future or spare motor for a different plane should I find out whats wrong.

Ii just want to get back at real soon and get comfortable flying again seeesh its been a while

Im also considering getting a walbro carb for these for an upgrade as well.

Donnie I am seeing some conflicting info regarding the DLE-35RA carb settings. See below

Carburetor Adjustments;
Low Speed Needle: 1.1 turns out as a starting point, adjust for a
smooth idle and a reliable transition to high throttle
High Speed Needle: 1.5 turns out from closed, adjust needle to peak
RPM, if engine slows or dies at full throttle, the high-speed
mixture is likely too lean

I still think it has to be your ignition. Try changing it out

The 1.1 instructions is whats in the manual as well, and heck we had them both turned out 2 turns where it should have at least ran all be it cruddy but at least should of ran longer then it was.

I will soon have a spare ignition and what not so I should be able to get it sorted out.

Well heck it fedex shows that other motor is suppose to show up today but it doesn't show its on truck for delivery hmmm not sure what to think of that looks like it's going to be a fantastic day out as well wouldn't mind heading out to the field, but I'd also like to stick around and get that motor installed as soon as it shows up so I can get this yak going
