There for a little bit I forgot about the canopy, im still waiting for mine to be replaced because UPS decided they didn't like that one I know steve from chief is on the ball getting me one though because I received an email from him.

So I got the tank tray in and receiver bed made, and all the electronics are wired and complete with the exception of the batteries and throttle servo, I need the motor so I know where to put batts for balance, and so I know where to put the servo for throttle so back to the waiting game

Tank time, this time i've decided to make my own water bottle tank. I bought a special cap from PSP manufacturing that has a inside nipple for the clunk and a outside nipple that goes to the carb that simply screws on to most any normal sized water, pop bottle. It also came with a vent line fitting this combo was like $22.00. They sell different collors and have different ways to make a purchases I just picked up a few while I was at chiefs store beings I was there but PSP has other great items as well.

$22.00 might seem a little pricey at first but I think in the long run an individual will benefit from it if your plane decided to land itself and the tank ruptured or you simply just got a hole in it because the caps and fittings are reusable.

So I made the wife drink some water so I had a bottle purchased my cap and fittings, bought a felt clunk from bi mart from the lawn section and had some fuel line laying around and im ready for action hopefully no leaks

So to tell you the truth I was a bit worried how I was going to get the nipples to work going through such a small opening such as a water bottle especially having to get a piece of 3 inch long feul line on one for a fill line I worried myself for nothing because it went right in first time no problem.

Ok for the other awesome part as far as getting these things tight you use a allen head wrench through the nipple opening and a 7/16th open end wrench.

Finished tank in no time at all, the PSP fittings was the best $22.00 ive spent in a long time.

Although still got to see if it leaks or not , id say proly not due to the fact that everything snugged up so well

Looking good man! Love those bottles.. hey, you think they would still work had they been filled with juice instead of water??

YA IF WE COULD FIND A BOTTLE THAT SAYS GO-GO JUICE THAT WOULD BE COOL.

Or if that one drink NOS came in a plastic bottle
Makes me want to go hunting for the coolest bottle's now!
