Well, having the Reactor biplane wrapped up, I have been back to work on the Yak again
I am putting the most of the detail's on Flying Giants where I started it all, but I will mention it here when I update that build thread, at least.
The most of the work so far has been re-enforcing all the joints and such with triangle stock and carbon fiber's, so really as far as pictures are concerned, there is not a whole lot that stands out as progress, but I have just about finished the reconstruction of the Fuselage. It is about to the point of beginning to re-install and fit the electronics and all again.
I will be working on the wings shortly. They both need some ribs touched up, balsa sheeting and wing tip replaced, sanded and reshaped etc..
I am still undecided on a motor. I am leaning between the DLE 55 or an EME 60. Unless I come across some extra funds, where I would spring for the DA 60. Although with my Reactor bipe's motor shot, I may end up getting one of Valley View's new brand VVRC 20cc gas motor (I believe its a take off a DLE 20). And if I do that, I will have to push back getting a motor for this Yak awhile longer
And Im not sure but Id almost rather hanger the bipe awhile and get this thing airborn first..
Sucks to be broke
Well anyways, heres a couple shots of the Yak fuselage as it sits now, fairly well back together again
Again, I have more details posted on Flying Giants. I have the link posted on my first post of this thread, or in the post above as well.
