Posted: Thu Jul 18, 2013 11:59 amYeah, I have everything to finish the plane, less a motor.. well I do somewhat need a better rudder servo too. the one i have would be okay at 270~ish ounce, but should bump it up closer to 350-400oz. The engine I am using is a loaner DLE to help complete everything while I am saving up for the motors I want/need. (still need one for the reactor bipe as well...)
Finally got some more UntraCote in yesterday at Eugene Toy, so I am ready to get the fuse ironed out shortly.
I grabbed the last roll of Yellow from them last week, got home and realized it was Cub Yellow, not Dark Yellow.. otherwise, I would have had the fuse covered I imagine by now.. oh well!
I should be able to get the rest covered throughout the weekend though. Getting close!

I finally got my new batteries in. It took nearly 3 weeks to ship Lipo batteries. I was not aware until after I placed the order that there are only a couple carriers that will even ship them.
So I have completed the battery tray, have finished the engine bay, fuel system is installed and the rudder tray is done. I am pretty much down to the final install of things with loctite, securing wires and securing a few other little things, and a final balance
I am really anticipating to have this wrapped up this week, and with any luck, the maiden flight by this coming weekend
So here's a few of the latest progress shots';
Rudder tray final install with proper sweep
Batteries installed in a secure compartment
Battery tray cover made and secure.
Final install of ignition
Final install of motor and throttle servo
Fuel tank and lines installed
