I have always liked the Pheaton 90 kit. Not sure what it is about it...
I was going to get one just to modify the crap out of it, with intention of having a decent pattern biplane in the end. It just seemed like a good starting design to do that without starting from scratch. At least for the first few levels of pattern, like sportsman, intermediate and even advanced would be great, I figure.

I would have lengthened the fuse, slimmed the wing cord down, brought the wings closer together.. and so on.

Look forward to seeing it finished up!
