Great mod man!

More on completing the canopy mod. I use 1/4 foam board to create templates.

Finished the end caps to the canopy, and glue in place using the original gorilla glue. The expanding foam helps fill imperfections. (not that there are any!)

Next, since the typical design had the inner fuse plates setup to access from the bottom, and I am going to be accessing through the canopy hatch, I need to relocate them.

Two more plates made up to cap the fuselage side.

And finishing it up. I will come back and add a couple dowels in the front, and either a spring quick release latch in the rear, or some sort of ply plate with a bolt.. not quite sure just yet.

I need to reposition the servo's in the tail (again), I dont like servo's just mounted back there having them completely exposed to the elements.. Instead, I will relocate them inside, having just the arms sticking out.
To do this, I have to fill in a couple factory holes, and add in some plates for the servo's to mount to inside.

Back to the canopy again, I needed to support the canopy frame a bit more. I ripped some balsa down to a square stock rails, and glued in place.
I also ended up needing to splice in a little piece to the front cap to even it out. Not sure how I did that.. but its even now

And finally, some final finish sanding to get everything to fit as perfect as possible. All thats left is the dowels and latch release

By the way, posting images now is soooo much smoother now, on this new web hosting server! No lagging or timing out, fast and quick uploads. what a difference from the other host. So glad we made the decision to pull out of GoDaddy.

I am going to try hard to get this plane finished up by time I get my parts for the Pilot Yak 54 rebuild.
