Eugene RC Aeronauts

I know we have a place for plane pics on the site but those are usually done when your at the field if somebody is there with a camera the same time you are which probably limits the real amount of pictures of all the planes we all actually have.

Heck since i've joined and gotten to know a lot of you guys im sure I proly haven't even seen a quarter of what you all have , so dig out your camera and planes snug up up your wings to the fuse a take a snapshot and get posting lets see some planes

So far ive posted my lil Yak im working on in the build thread I will post it here when im done and i've got a Extra 260 and a Edge 540 as well, all are Pilot-RC airframes.

Like some of you, I have planes that I am not sure enough of my ability to actually fly. The Corsair I built from a Top Flite kit. It has a OS 95 four stroke, with Century Jets retracts, and operational sectional flaps.

were electric ARF's, that I actually flew once each, but quickly realized I need some experience in someting other than my trainer.
Which brings up a questin i will pose to the group.
I am thinking of my next plane as a transition one, and am looking at a Great Planes Escapade. I would be able to just drop all of the gear from my trainer into it, and the price is really atractive. Anyone have any experience with this plane, or another sugestion?

Yes, I’ve seen it fly and it looks like a good transition plane to go to the CAP. Once you fly the Escapade 10 or 20 times you’ll be ready for the C AP and then maybe the Corsair. Now for the DR-1, that is a different animal.
