My buddy Gary has an old old DR-1 1/4 scale (or so) with a Quadra gas motor in it. Not sure what size it actually is.. but the thing is big. I actually remember him flying it back when I was.. actually before I was a teenager. It was awesome, flew great too. He still has it hanging around and is still airworthy too. Dont let the 3 wings fool you. If its properly set up, its a great flying plane!

Thanks for all of the feed back. It seems like the Escapade will be my next plane!

I had the Escapade 40 with an OS 55AX in it and standard servos. It was my first plane after my trainer and it was great. Anyone that can fly a trainer and land OK can fly the Escapade. It will let you transition to loops and rolls and as Dwayne said it will be a good stepping stone to the CAP. I miss my Escapade and I'm going to get the 60 size one someday soon.

Good luck it is a great plane and you will love it.
