HI GUYS JUST WANTED TO SAY EVERY ONE IS DOING A FINE JOB WORKING ON THE FIELD ITS REALLY LOOKING GREAT . I THINK OUR MONSTER BIG BIRD IS GOING TO BE SOMETHING GREAT CHICK

I agree chick field is awesome and the event will be the best we've had to date im sure, just hope the weather will be in our favor that weekend.

OKAY GUYS ITS ABOUT TIME WE STEP UP AND BRING OUR FORUM BACK TO LIFE . AS STATED BY OUR PRES LAST NIGHT THIS FORUM IS FOR OUR USES TO TALK ABOUT PLANS FOR THE FUTURE WHAT WERE DOING TO MAKE THINGS BETTER.I WOOD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT THE NEW RUNWAY HOW LONG ITS GOING TO BE AND WIDE . IF WE ARE GOING TO FLY FROM OUR FLIGHT STATIONS WE HAVE KNOW OR WHAT JUST A THOUGHT .COME ON MAN WE CAN MAKE THIS SITE BETTER. CHICK

Yeah, all our existing flight stations will remain where they are. The new runway will be at the west end of the runway, so in the end really, it will not effect the way we have always been using the runway now.
The pads at the west end will also remain, and continue to be used as they were intended. I think the furthest west end pad may get a multi purpose use for helicopters as well, but that should be about the only difference from how we are already using the field.

I agree, the field is looking fantastic.

Now if we had a paved runway for those of us with tiny-wheeled planes... (too bad there's no smiley for running and ducking for cover)

Yup, the field looks great. We're lucky to have it in such a great location. The addition of the cross runway will be the icing on the cake.
