Forum Avatars

For those of you that would like to have an avatar image, you may upload your own from the user control panel.

To access this control panel, there is a link under the forum site logo (IF you are logged in) at top-left and under the main index reference links labeled 'User Control Panel' << Click on that link.

You will be taken to your profile page with a menu on the left with some personal profile links. This is where you can add/edit your forum profile information's.

Click on the 'Profile' link to bring up your profile page, and then click on the 'Edit Avatar' link.
A new page will appear with all the options for adding an avatar image, or selecting one from the forums archive of avatars. (this archive may be empty until we can collect some)

If you are going to use your own image, it must be a minimum size of 20x20 pixels, and maximum of 90x90 pixels, or any size between those sizes. Over time we can build a collection of avatars to choose from, available to anyone that would like to use them. If you upload your own, it will be just that; your own. Unless you choose to add it to the forums collection.

If you still have trouble getting through this and have an image you would like to use as an avatar, you may send me the image to aroura420@hotmail.com and I will get it worked out. I can also re-size the image if needed for anyone having trouble with that as well.

Also, if anyone has some avatar images that you would like to donate to the avatar vault for others to choose from, you may also send them to me and I will add them to the collection.

Hope this helps

I bumped the avatar size up again, and still seems good at this size. When they get too big though, it can get distracting and distort the forums even.

Anyways, avatar's can now be 180 x 180 8-)

Avatar images have been increased to 200 x 200 pixel max.

Anyone wanting an Avatar image and having troubles can always email me an image, and I can re size and place it for you.
