Well folks, I just want to take a minute to say that the forums seem to be off to a great start I have had more fun building this one up than any other!

With things about set up here, I am going to take some time and begin to implement a blog section. If anyone has ever been to the Flying Giants forums, they too have a forum and blog hybrid forums. It is really neat because each member gets their own forum area (aka a blog) to create any topics they choose! You can create multiple topics of any subject, edit them, delete them, you can even choose who can and can not view them!

This will give us the ability to really personalize ourselves on the site. You can make your own build thread, post a for sale topic, start a topic to rant about something, anything you want that you might not find a category on the main forums page for

There may be some bumps along the road, so if you notice anything wrong with the forums over the next couple days let me know. I will try to get this done with little to no down time to the forums as possible.

One more step to bringing this club closer together

Forum Blogs are now available!

You can access them by the link(s) at the top/right of the website, or from your user control panel, or from your profile section from a forum topic you may have posted in.
This is a new system to me, so please let me know of any issues you may come across.

It may seem bland fr awhile until some folks start creating some blog posts.

Also, for anyone that noticed, the slide show view for images in posts went away yesterday. This was my doing, as I was adding code for the blogs, I accidentally removed a piece of code for the slide show viewing support

Anyways, asside from expanding on the smiley images soon, I will more than likely call it good on the forum additions for awhile. I would like to hold here, and concentrate on making sure everything that is done will remain stable for us. After some time passes, and things become more used and populated, I will see what other goodies we could utilize
